theologyinafrica.com is now on version 3.2.  The project began
in April 2006, when I was undertaking academic research into African
Theology.  I realised first of all that there were plenty of good
resources on the subject on the internet but these were spread all
over the place and it took several months to find all the work needed
to complete my research project.  

Secondly, I realised that there also really worth while academic
papers on the internet yet these more often than not require
payment of some sort which immediately disqualifies hordes of
people in Africa who simple do not have the means to access these
valuable resources yet they are the very people who would benefit
from these.

Much of my thinking on the subject culminated pretty much in this
website.  Up to a few months ago, most of my efforts were focussed
on trawling though endless search engines to find relevant articles
etc.  I think it is fair to say that I have captured most of these articles.  
I am now focussing my efforts on three areas.  One, developing the
specialist collections, two, working on our campaign to make papers
available and three, to build up a substantial resource on conference papers
that so often get published in expensive journals.  As far as I can tell,
theologyinafrica.com is by far the biggest resource on African
theology on the internet to date (July 2007).  With yourhelp, this
project can grow even more and there are plenty of ways one can get
involved.

Conference Papers - contains a growing list of papers read at various con-
ferences.

Many of the resources require either a word viewer or pdf reader .
